Miroslav Roštínský was a Czech painter and graphic artist who left a significant mark on Czech art. His work was influenced by both Constructivism and Cubism, especially in his early works, which featured stylized figures of workers and monumental industrial objects.

Roštínský studied at the Higher School of Art Industry in Brno, where he devoted himself to applied painting and printmaking under the guidance of important teachers such as Emanuel Hrbek and František Václav Süsser.

After his studies, he worked as an artist at the State Film in Brno and then moved to Žďár nad Sázavou, where he became the first promotional artist at Žďárské strojírny. His close connection with the industrial environment was strongly reflected in his early work.

His work is varied and includes both painting and graphics. In addition to industrial motifs, he also painted landscapes, still lifes and portraits. In his later years, his work moved more towards geometric abstraction.

He exhibited his works at many domestic and foreign exhibitions, and they are also represented in many important collections, such as the Moravian Gallery in Brno.

He was a member of the Union of Visual Artists of the Czech Republic and the Club of Visual Artists of Horácko.
